The Fisk Memorial Chapel is a learning environment in which students receive both encouragement and preparation to enter careers in the parish ministry and the academic study of religion, religious scholars and preach and teach about the necessity of being effective and responsible moral agents in a global community, and people within the Fisk Family of Nashville, TN use their skills, talents and resources to effectuate a positive change in the lives of people in need. We are continuing to embrace our longstanding history of inviting the brightest and most influential minds in the field of Religion to the Fisk Memorial Chapel. We have had the privilege of hearing sermons from the Reverend Dr. Cheryl Townsend-Gilkes, the Reverend Dr. Raphael Warnock, the Reverend Dr. William Flippin, the Reverend Dr. Renita Weems, the Reverend Dr. Brad Braxton, the Reverend Dr. Charles Adams, the Reverend Dr. Jesse Jackson, the Reverend Dr. Benjamin Hooks, the Reverend Dr. Calvin Butts, the Reverend Dr. Alton Pollard, Bishop Vashti McKenzie and President Robert Michael Franklin Jr. of Morehouse College. We celebrate the accomplishments of these individuals, and we look forward to additional opportunities to work in tandem with them in an effort to strengthen the moral fabric with binds our global community.
